As the majority of Irish citizens get vaccinated, mainstream media start reporting more on adverse reactions from Covid vaccines

As the majority of the Irish population is now vaccinated, Irish mainstream media are now turning to report on adverse reactions from Covid vaccines. Headaches “worse than the aftermath of major neck and back surgeries” by one vaccine sufferer.

A man suffering from cerebral palsy and scoliosis has been in the news this week, across many publications. His story of adverse reactions after receiving a Covid vaccine was told by the Irish Times and other mainstream media in Ireland including WLR in Waterford, The Irish Mirror and Beat 103.

25 year old Karl Cretzan, living in Waterford City says he suffered a severe reaction from his first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and has been told that he cannot switch to a different vaccine for his second jab reports the Irish Times. Karl says he never normally gets headaches and described the symptoms immediately after his jab as worse than the aftermath of major neck and back surgeries he has endured in recent years.

Mr Cretzan claims he suffered violent shakes, cold sweats and painkiller resistant headaches after getting his first dose of AstraZeneca. His symptoms lasted for nearly two weeks. He said “It was the worst feeling of my life.”

Last month Mr Cretzan was offered and refused the AstraZeneca jab. The HSE has told him that getting a different second jab was not an option is awaiting further guidance from the HSE.
