At least eleven soldiers were killed after an armed group attacked an army unit guarding a military academy in the Afghan capital earlier today.
The raid follows a deadly suicide bombing in Kabul on Saturday, when a militant drove an ambulance packed with explosives into a crowded area of the city, killing at least 103 and injuring over two hundred.
IS has claimed responsibility for this latest attack.
