At least one person sustained gunshot wounds during an anti-Trump rally in Portland, Oregon, on the third consecutive nights of protests sparked by the election of Donald Trump as President.
The event reportedly turned violent and missiles were thrown. Riot police deployed tear gas as a response.
It is unclear who fired the shots, but police were seeking someone described as “African-American male, late teens, 5’8″, thin, wearing black dark hoodie and saggy blue jeans.”
There has been widespread shock in the United States and elsewhere after the former reality TV star and billionaire Donald Trump won the election, becoming the 45th President of the United States.
