Bank holiday protest! Concerned citizens around the country will hold migrant protests tomorrow from 2pm – the biggest in Dublin starting at Connolly Station #IrelandisFull

Concerned Irish citizens will gather at Connolly Station on Amiens Street, Dublin on Monday February 6th at 2pm to protest against migrant being planted in their area.

Working-class communities across Dublin in East Wall, Ballymun, Finglas, Artane, Tallaght and the city centre have been steadfast in opposing the planting of migrants being placed in their midst. Many on social media believe that thus far the government have dismissed their concerns and defamed their motives along with the establishment media.

Some social media users say they’re concerned that they’ll have unvetted migrants living them with potentially criminal backgrounds. Add that to availability of services and additional strains on an already critically low housing supply and there’s no wonder protests appear to be getting traction.

However, these opinions have been met with much opposition from the government down saying that their concerns are unfounded with the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar declaring that refugees are welcome and this is not the Irish way.
