Lisa Smith, the so-called ‘Irish ISIS bride’, has once again yanked at the Irish people’s heartstrings begging them to allow her back to her native Dundalk.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail over the weekend, Smith, originally from Dundalk, has been living in a camp near the Syrian village of Baghouz with her child after her second husband was reportedly killed in action. Smith is now begging to be allowed to come home.
It’s understood that Smith says she just made a big mistake going to Syria.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has so far shown keen interest on the case and is doing all he can to bring Ms. Smith and her child to Ireland, while at the same time showing little or no concern for the more than 10,000 people who are currently homeless across the country.
Do think that a person who’s been closely associated with a known terrorist organization should be allowed enter Ireland again? Let us know in the comments below.
