A 10-yr-old boy has been savagely killed by a dog in a caravan site in Cornwall, South West England.
Police were called to the caravan site at Tencreek Holiday Park in Looe at 4:55am on Saturday morning.
Emergency personnel discovered a boy who was unresponsive and in critical condition. They worked on him at the site but tragically were unable to revive him. The boy’s name has not yet been publicly released.
Police launched a manhunt and attested a 28-yr-old woman some 17 miles away from the site at 7am in connection with the boy’s death. It’s understood that the woman is the owner of the dog that killed the boy, a bulldog-type dog, which has since been taken into kennels by police.
