A vehicle carrying five teenage boys crashed this morning leaving one dead and another in critical condition.
A garda GSOC investigation is underway into the crash, but gardai are not yet making public the reason for this.
Gardai say that the boy died in the single car collision in the Lisclougher Great area of Delvin at 2.15am this morning.
Sadly the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed off this morning.
