It is being reported that Gardai investigating the killing of Ashling Murphy in Offaly last week have arrested a man in connection with her murder.
According to RTE, the man in his 30s is being held at Tullamore Garda Station.
Ms Murphy was killed while she was out for a run in Tullamore, County Offaly. Her funeral took place earlier today when the President and his wife joined hundreds of other mourners in Mountbulus. Thousands more are thought to have watched the funeral online as it was live-streamed.
