Gardai have confirmed that at least 6 people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car at the junction of Adelaide Road and Earlsfort Terrace within the past number of minutes.
They have stressed that this is not a hit and run incident and that the driver of the car is co-operating with them.
It’s understood that the car veered into the people following a serious collision at the junction.
Emergency services from Pearse St, Tara St and Donnybrook are at the scene.
