MMA fighter Conor Mcgregor has been given five days community service and has been ordered to undergo anger management classes after he pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and assault in New York.

Mcgregor who was at the centre of a bust up at a UFC event in Brooklyn last April was sentenced this afternoon after he pleaded guilty to all charges brought against him.

The Dublin native will serve the same  sentence as fellow MMA fighter Cian Cowley, after the pair were involved in a fracas with a number of UFC stars who were waiting on a bus at the event.

Although Mcgregor is to attend anger management classes, will have the location of his community service will determined by the District Attorney’s office.
