The Department for Health has confirmed that 20 people have died from coronavirus today and 8,248 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 145,318 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 2,330 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at more than 100, which is down from last week.
