There’s violent scenes in the ‘Big Small’ today as a large Black Lives Matter demonstration is underway around the statue of Winston Churchill in the British capital.
Crowds gathered around the monument, sited on Parliament Sq., earlier this morning. It is understood that some minor skirmishes have occurred between protesters and police.
Authorities intend to enforce a 5pm curfew to get people off the streets as early as possible.
