The mediation meeting on the Garth Brooks concerts scheduled to take place this evening has been cancelled. A spokesperson for Garth Brooks said he will address the cancelled Dublin concerts later today.
Brooks is said to be holding a major press conference in Nashville today, which is scheduled to begin at 5pm Irish time.
The scheduled meeting between Dublin Lord Mayor Christy Burke, Dublin City Council chief executive Owen Keegan and mediator Kieran Mulvey was due to take place at 5pm to see if a compromise could be reached over the staging of five concerts at Croke Park.
The meeting was requested by Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Meanwhile, the residents group most opposed to the holding of the concerts has said it will now agree to some concerts going ahead.
