In what can only be described as a truly brave and candid interview on Friday night’s Late Late Show, comedian Sir Stevo Timothy spoke about the issues he endured, especially during lockdown.
Stevo said that he started drinking at a very early age but manged to give it up – until lockdown.
He’s well known for his funny sketches on Facebook, but during lockdown, Stevo went back on alcohol and ended up having a drink problem fast. He said that he ended up having very bad thoughts but that he managed to seek help and thankfully managed to get everything straight and sorted out.
A previous incident saw Stevo have a motorbike crash with a friend who tragically died in the accident. Sparing him a jail sentence, a Judge told Stevo to effectively go out and evangelise with other young people to not drink to deal with problems or escape problems.
