After receiving a cancer diagnosis earlier this year, the Princess of Wales made her second public appearance at Wimbledon for the men’s singles final, reports Sky.
Kate watched the rematch of last year’s men’s final on Centre Court between Novak Djokovic and reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz. Kate was at Trooping the Colour last month.
Princess Charlotte, the princess’s daughter, and sister Pippa accompanied her, reports Sky.
Since 2016, Kate has supported the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. She will deliver the trophy to the victor.
She met players, including Emma Raducanu, less than an hour before the Sunday afternoon final was scheduled to start.
As Kate and Charlotte took their seats in the first row of the royal box at Centre Court, the audience erupted in cheers and applause, reports Sky.
As they took a seat next to her sister Pippa Matthews, Kate grinned widely and gestured to the audience.
She then presented Carlos Alcarez with the trophy and Novak Djokovic with the runner up plate.
