Authorities in France have confirmed that two people have been diagnosed with the Coronavirus.
The news which was confirmed by the country’s Minister for Health Agnes Buzyn, means that the two cases are the first to be confirmed in Europe.
It is understood that one person in Paris, whilst another in Bordeaux have been diagnosed with the virus which is believed to have originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
Authorities in France say both patients have been placed in quarantine and they expect more cases to be confirmed over the coming days ahead.
