Coronavirus: Spanish medical authorities say that 394 more people died in the last 24h, Prime Minister warns of ‘hard days ahead’




Spanish medical authorities have confirmed that 394 more people died of Covid-19-related causes in the last 24h. Meanwhile, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez warned of ‘hard days ahead’.

A total of 1,270 people have now died from complications arising from coronavirus infection in Spain, with almost 25,000 infections reported.

Spain has reported the third-highest number of infections in Europe, just behind Italy.
