A couple in the US were rudely interrupted by a mountain lion while they were chilling out together in a hot tub.
According to the Metro, the two were relaxing in an in-ground hot tub when the lion made his move. The man described how the felt something grab his head. His wife then shone a light at the animal and they realised that a lion was staging an attack. The Metro reports that it moved about 20 feet away from the hot tub but continued to watch the couple from a distance.
They managed to fight off the animal by screaming and splashing water but not before the man had sustained four scratches on his head and near his ear.
Speaking afterwards, wildlife officials said that the couple reacted property by shouting and screaming and using a flashlight to ward it off. They are tracking the lion’s whereabouts.
