Covid-19: Cases in Ireland remain ‘stubbornly high,’ according to health authorities

Cases in Ireland remain ‘stubbornly high,’ according to health authorities.

The Health Service Executive (HSE)’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Colm Henry, has said that the number of daily new cases is still hitting 500-600.

He did remark that he does not believe the reopening of schools has contributed to the increase in numbers.

Ireland’s current lockdown is due to expire on April 5, but we’re unlikely to see major changes going forward.
