The coronavirus situation is deteriorating quickly around Ireland again, as the number of daily new infections is expected to surpass 3,000 for a second day running.
It’s starting to be quite apparent that the coronavirus vaccines have had a negligible impact in preventing infection and transmission.
Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan was recently forced to admit as much when he said that the vaccines ‘are not performing as well as hoped.’
It remains to be seen what tale the Government will spin when most people are vaccinated in Ireland and infections keep rising.
