Ireland is the European country with the highest incidence of coronavirus, according to the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC).
The agency has said that Ireland is currently the only country in Europe with a 14-day incidence of 504 cases per 100,000 people.
Despite this fact, the Irish Government keeps hailing its own vaccination programme as a ‘success.’
