Figures just released show that new car sales slumped by almost 100% across the UK during the month of April.
This figure is hardly surprising, since most showrooms and dealers remained closed for the entire month due to Covid-19.
A similar situation arose in Ireland, with some car brands reporting not a single sale during the entire month.
