The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) dealt yet another hammer blow to the Irish hospitality industry by recommending that concerts and indoor events should operate at 50% capacity until next year.

Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin is expected to bow down to the agency’s wishes and wave the recommendation through.
