The current Covid-19 pandemic payments could be cut as the Social Protection Minister Regina Doherty has revealed that funding is running out.
Speaking in the Dáil this afternoon Minister Doherty said that funding for the payments will run out next week.
Although Doherty confirmed that payments will continue past June, she did state that revisions to the payments are expected to be made.
Doherty said a Government meeting will take place within the coming days to review funding and how to continue payments.
