Screaming is to be banned at all Disneyland rides to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Park authorities have decided that screaming in fear or excitement poses an unacceptable risk to others, so riders will be encouraged to keep quiet for the duration of the ride.
Ride capacity might also be reduced to keep people safely apart and quiet.
Japan took a similar initiative for its amusement parks last summer, going as far as creating the motto ‘scream inside your heart’, before releasing a video of several park authorities riding a roller coaster with a deadpan, emotionless, and business-like face.
