Covid-19: Staff and students might be banned from their workplaces and places of study in the post-Covid 19 world if they have a cold, cough, or flu-like symptoms

Staff and students might be banned from their workplaces and places of study in the post-Covid 19 world if they have a cold, cough, or flu-like symptoms, it has emerged today.

Speaking in recent days, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan said that there currently is  ‘certain tolerance’ to people being mildly sick at work, school, etc., but added that a zero-tolerance policy might be imposed after the Covid-19 pandemic passes.

There is currently no cure for Covid-19, and a vaccine might not be available for well over a year, if at all.
