The Department of Transport has said it is considering introducing Covid-19 testing at airports and ports.
Speaking before the Oireachtas Covid-19 committee a Department spokesperson said the matter of testing is under review.
It is understood that testing is being considered after a number of opposition TD’s have voiced concerns about the lack of testing at airports and ports.
