What would a new week be without a new Covid variant? The now defunct Omicron Spawn, which only lasted a week or so, has now given way (‘spawned’?) the XBB variant.
Of course, just like any new variant, XBB supposedly evades immunity and previous inoculations, so people just need to get another injection to be on the safe side.
This new injection will of course only last until the new weekly variant comes along, and so on ad infinitum.
