The UK’s end of lockdown on June 21 might now be pushed back to July amidst rapidly rising coronavirus cases.
The latest figures show that cases of community transmission rose by an staggering 76.5% over seven days.
The new reopening date of July 5th has now been suggested, but this is still under consideration.
