A young patient is in a critical condition in an Irish hospital after contracting coronavirus.
The patient, believed to be younger than 25, is the sixth person in the 15-24 age bracket to be admitted to an ICU in Ireland following Covid-19 infection.
A total of 1,488 people have so far died from Covid-19-related causes in the country.
