The Irish Defence Forces is suffering an unprecedented crisis in terms of dwindling manpower, low moral and abysmal recruiting but the military’s leadership are now ready to combat the real threat to the country’s national security, “masculine culture”.
The Defence Forces has in its wisdom, decided to spend an as yet undisclosed amount of taxpayers money to re-educate every single soldier, sailor and airman (sorry “airperson”) with the progressive ideologies of gender, diversity and unconscious bias.
How this will help slow the flood of soldiers deserting the army or help recruit of sailors to actually man the few naval vessels available is a mystery but a report from 2022 highlighted the evils of a “masculine culture” in the military of all places, so action must be taken.
In a tender notice published this week, the Defence Forces said it was “striving to better represent the society they are committed to serve, as Ireland’s population becomes increasingly diverse” the Irish Independent reported.
