Deirdre Morley’s trial last month claimed that she was suffering for severe mental illness and she was found not guilty of murdering her three children.
The 44-yr-old woman killed the children in January in 2019 and a jury found her not guilty by reason of insanity when she suffocated her three young children, 9-yr-old Conor, 7-yr-old Darragh and 3-yr-old Carla.
It’s understood that Ms Morley has been admitted to the Central Mental Hospital for in-patient treatment with a review of the woman taking place every 6 months.
