The Department of Health have confirmed that there has been 1,578 new Covid-19 cases confirmed over the past 24 hours.
In an announcement the Department also confirmed that there are 484 people being treated in hospital with Covid-19.
They also say there are currently 73 people in ICU across the country with the virus.
