440 additional refugees have received clearance from the Irish Government to travel from Greece to Ireland, according to the Department of Justice.
This latest group makes 900 the total number of refugees cleared to travel here from Greece.
The Government made a commitment to take in 4,000 refugees under the Refugee Protection Programme, which was established in 2015 in response to the international refugee crisis.
