Disbelief and outrage as yet another homeless man dies on our streets
There’s been online consternation after yet another homeless man was found dead on our streets this bank holiday weekend.
The poor soul, who was aged in his 50s, was living homeless and sleeping in doorways in Cork city.
His body was found at 7am Sunday morning at St. Finbarr’s Bridge in the city centre.
It’s understood that homeless charity workers in Cork knew the man quite well and said he was a decent and inoffensive person who didn’t deserve to die like that. They’ve called on the government to do something, anything, to stop the homeless epidemic.
