Doctors have urged scooter users to wear helmets while using the vehicle after a study found that there has been extremely serious injuries from scooter users in Ireland over the past number of years.
Injuries include fractures, multiple broken bones and head injuries as a result of crashing off e-scooters.
It’s understood that the government are looking at introducing laws that would see people having to wear a helmet while using scooters and possibly speed limits being implemented.
