While the term ‘heatwave’ may be a slight exaggeration, some calm and fine weather is heading Ireland’s way.
The coming days will bring plenty of long sunny spells, according to Met Eireann, with daytime temperatures ranging from 17 to 20C. The west of the country will be warmest.
Saturday and Sunday are said to be warm and mostly dry, with just the ocassional shower on Saturday.
So dust off those BBQs, as you may not get another chance to use them!
