The mood on the streets is clear. Fresh from an appalling performance in the Leaders Debate last night, Enda Kenny had to be fully surrounded by police today as he went on the campaign trail around Cork.
The slogans chanted against him went from ‘Get out of Cork, you langer’, to much, much worse.
It seems that people around the country have had enough of years of lies, broken election promises, and imposed austerity, compounded by the inception of Irish Water and extra bin charges this summer.
