Two of the worlds biggest football organisations have moved to suspend Russian teams from participating in any of their tournaments.
In an announcement made this evening both FIFA and UEFA have confirmed that both the Russian national team and Russian club teams will be suspended from taking part in any international competitions following the country’s invasion of Ukraine.
Both organisations say the imposed suspensions will remain in place until further notice.
