Whether she cares or not, Mariah Carey has added yet another accolade to her career highlights.
The singer has finally hit the number one slot in the UK’s official charts with All I Want For Christmas – 26 years after it was first released in 1994.
She’s currently at #5 in the Irish charts and moving up fast.
Mariah had to fend off competition from Wham’s Last Christmas but she finally did it.
When her Christmas classic was first released in 1994, it went straight into the UK number two, just missing out to East 17 and their hit “Stay Another Day”.
