
Five people have been hospitalised following a road traffic collision in Co Cork.
It is understood that a 11-year-old boy who was a passenger in one of the vehicles was seriously injured following a collision between two cars in Knocknaboul area of Ballydesmond, on Saturday.
Gardai say the driver and three other passengers were taken to University Hospital Limerick with non-life threatening injuries.
They also say the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured following the incident.
