Former Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher has been admitted to hospital for secret treatment it has been reported.
According to Le Parisien, Schumacher who has not been seen in public since suffering severe head injuries following a skiing accident in the French Alps back in 2013 was admitted to Pompidou hospital on Monday.
Le Parisien say Schumacher was admitted to the hospital to undergo a secret treatment that is thought to be a stem-cell transfusion which is being led by French surgeon Philippe Menasche.
Although Schumacher’s family haven’t provided any comment on the report, they did state back in January that he was in the very best of hands in regards to his ongoing treatment.
