In an interview with Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow former U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that governmental restrictions on human rights in Canada highlight the importance of protecting constitutional rights in America.

Pompeo, who also served as Director of the CIA described the Orwellian attempts by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to suppress peaceful protests in Canada through his invocation of the Emergencies Act as “shocking” and “unconscionable.”

In an unprecedent move the cowardly PM, who refused to meet with the peaceful protestors used what are essentially war powers to try to suppress the anti-mandate trucker protests which have captured the imagination of freedom loving peoples across the world.

Referencing the weakness of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in protecting the rights of the Canadian people from the violent oppression of Trudeau which even included seizing of bank accounts and threats to murder pets, Pompeo said:
“It reminds us how important our Constitution is, as well,” he determined. “They don’t have one. They don’t have a First Amendment. It reminds us how dear these things are, and how much we have to protect them.”
