Police in the Canary Islands have sadly confirmed that four people have been killed after the car they were travelling in crashed into a ravine.
According to Sky News, a British man and his wife were killed in the tragic incident which Galdar, Las Palmas, on Tuesday night.
It is understood that the car crashed after it came off the edge of a motorway on Gran Canaria.
Police investigating the incident say the car fell 75 metres (250 feet) during the crash which occurred in rainy and foggy conditions.
Officers investigating the incident say two other people the woman’s father and sister were also killed in the incident.
They added that an investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
