Four people have been arrested in relation to garda car being rammed in Cherry Orchard last month




Four people have been arrested in connection with an investigation into an incident in Dublin last month in which a police vehicle was rammed.

Gardaí responded to reports of unsafe driving in the Cherry Orchard area on September 19, saying that two vehicles were driving dangerously and that the drivers did not stop when asked.

Video footage of the event was posted on social media, showing a group of people cheering as a car collided with the Garda vehicle.

The incident left no injuries but gardai were said to be very traumatised. This morning Gardaí from Ballyfermot, Clondalkin and Rathcoole ranger stations carried out an operation and arrested four minors.

All four are being held at multiple guard stations in the capital.
