Four teenagers have been arrested over the death of a 12-year-old girl in Liverpool overnight.
The deceased has been named as Ava White. It is understood that she was involved in an altercation around Liverpool city centre on Thursday evening, and that she sustained stabbing injuries.
She was rushed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital where she passed away.
Four boys in their early teens have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
