Chilling reports are emerging about this morning’s deadly attack in the church at St-Etienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen, in the Normandy region of France.
Witnesses report that the attackers filmed themselves preaching in Arabic from the altar before asking the priest, 84-year-old Father Jacques Hamel, to kneel down.
The attackers then allegedly cut the priest’s throat.
Extremist organization ISIS has claimed responsibility for the murder, stating that two of its soldiers carried out the attack.
The perpetrators were shot dead by police marksmen as they exited the church.
