Divers from the Garda Water Unit are set to begin searching several slurry tanks on farmland in Co Cork, where a large-scale search is underway for a 47-year-old man, reports RTE.
Kieran Quilligan was last seen on CCTV footage near St Patrick’s Cathedral. Shortly after 9.30pm on Friday 1 September in Finbarra town centre.
Divers arrived at the site near the Courttown Industrial Estate on Little Island this afternoon, reports RTE.
It has been five days since gardaà began searching farms and open spaces for Mr Quilligan who went missing on September 1.
Family members continue to keep a close watch.
Last week, gardaà revealed they were very concerned for his welfare, reports RTE.
