Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a cash-in-transit van was robbed on Tuesday.
It is understood the investigation comes after a man approached two security guards armed with a gun in Cornmarket.
It is believed that the man made off on foot with a quantity of cash which was being delivered to an ATM.
Gardaí say no one was injured in the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
