Gardaí in Cork have begun an investigation following the discovery of man’s body in the city this morning.
It is understood the investigation comes after a man aged in his 50s was found dead at a house on the Bandon Road at approximately 11:30am.
Gardaí say the scene currently remains sealed off and they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination in order to determine the cause of the man’s death.
